From graphic designer to certified translator with over a decade of experience, Carlos Pardo connects cultures with precision, professionalism, and passion.

A graduate of the prestigious Universidad de los Andes in Colombia (ranked among the top five in Latin America), Carlos discovered his true vocation in translation after exploring a career in graphic design. Since 2012, he has worked as a freelance translator, delivering more than 300 successful projects for clients worldwide on platforms such as Upwork and Freelancer.

Carlos is an ATA-certified English-to-Spanish translator, a credential that reflects his proven linguistic competence, adherence to the highest professional standards, and commitment to quality. He completed a postgraduate Master’s degree in Translation and New Technologies (English–Spanish) at ISTRAD in 2024, an institution renowned for its innovative, practice-oriented approach. In 2025, he began a Master’s degree in Editorial Translation at Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU).

He specializes in high-quality translations in the technical, marketing, and legal fields, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness in every project.

Outside of work, he enjoys video games, movie marathons, and reading graphic novels, while making sure his feline companions — and his wife — receive their royal treatment.
